A look inside

Everyone gets a secret card showing the same place, except one player: the odd one out. Take turns asking each other questions about the place. Insiders must prove they know it without giving it away. The odd one out has to blend in and work out where everyone is. Then vote: caught, or got away?

EASY TO TEACH, HARD TO FAKE

  • Hold your card to peek, release to hide it. Pass nothing around.
  • Illustrated places from airports and bakeries to submarines and ski resorts: 20 to start, all 40 with the Tabletop Pass.
  • If the odd one out is caught, they can still steal the win by naming the place.
  • Scores add up over rounds, so everyone gets a turn at being the odd one out.

PLAY ANY WAY YOU LIKE

  • In person: three to eight friends, one phone each, a shared timer and a quick vote.
  • Online: pick one-word clues from three choices, with no typing and no chat with strangers.
  • Choose the number of rounds, the timer and how many places the odd one out can guess from.
